My collections are inspired by light, emotion, mood, the music of nature and stories of humanity.

The "Whimsical Wanderings" Series captures brilliant wildflowers, sea grasses, brambles, bluffs, water, woods and fields with many intricate layers of carefree whimsy. My process is an energetic and chaotic dance around the canvas, not knowing what the outcome will be. Many layers are created ending with a few deliberate elements to punctuate the essence, harmony and symbolic emotion of the moment and celebrate the unexpected.

The "I Am" collection is made in an Abstract Realism style. These expressive portraits focus on celebrating emotion, mood, human nature, individuality and stories of everyday life with vibrant color, brushstrokes and symbolic elements.
