I am an Expressive Impressionist whose vibrant paintings explore the texture, colors and joyful beauty of nature and stories of daily humanity over 5 decades of work.

I am inspired by light, emotion and the music of nature and stories of humanity.

My "Whimsical Wanderings" Series captures brilliant wildflowers, sea grasses, brambles, bluffs, water, woods and fields with many intricate layers of carefree whimsy. My process is an energetic and chaotic dance around the canvas, not knowing what the outcome will be. Many layers are created ending with a few deliberate elements to punctuate the essence, harmony and symbolic emotion of the moment and celebrate the unexpected.

The "I Am" portraits focus on celebrating expression, emotion and stories of everyday life and individuality with vibrant color, brushstrokes and expressive elements.
